Solutions for common issues with Enter Code.

Installation issues

command not found: enter

Make sure the npm global bin directory is in your PATH.

npm bin -g

Node.js version too old

Enter Code requires Node.js 18+.

node --version

Authentication issues

Login required

Run enter --login and complete the browser flow.

Login browser does not open

Copy the URL from the terminal output and open it manually.

Session issues

Use /clear for a fresh session or enter --resume <session-id> to recover a previous one.

MCP issues

Run /mcp to check server status and verify the server command is installed.
